(Nashville, TN)…StowTown Records is thrilled to announce the release of a brand new album, Another World, from one of gospel music’s fastest rising family groups, Southern Raised.
“Another World has been a very special project to create. We feel it has dug into our deepest roots and pulled from every aspect of our musical journey and influences,” said Lindsay Reith, the oldest of the fan-favorite sibling quartet from Crane, MO. “In 12 songs, it conveys our hearts through music and our style like never before!”
Southern Raised, a vocal and instrumental group comprised of sisters, Lindsay (bass), Sarah (banjo), and Emily (mandolin and violin), along with their younger brother Matthew (guitar), has received multiple nominations in recent years: Singing News Fan Awards, Diamond Awards, Front Porch Fellowship and SPBGMA Midwest awards, Band of the Year, Vocal Group of the Year and Christian Country Album of the Year.
StowTown Records cofounder, creative director and longtime producer Wayne Haun says of the group, “I haven’t heard harmony this tight since The Andrews Sisters. Add Matthew to the mix, and it sounds like Perry Como and The Andrews Sisters singing gospel. It’s nostalgic, yet fresh.”
This is the freshman StowTown Records project for the popular gospel bluegrass band since coming aboard last August.
“Our first project with Stowtown Records was such an amazing experience! The level of professionalism and quality was always set at the highest bar,” said Lindsay. “Working with Wayne as producer was so incredible! His creative juices mingling with ours seemed to create a recipe for our hearts and style to flow through every note and fulfill every dream we had for the project. His brilliant musical talent certainly left us inspired! In the words of Einstein, ‘Creativity is contagious, pass it on.’ Thanks, Wayne, for passing it on.”
“We were blessed to come together with other great writers for this CD, and the by-product? We co-wrote over half the project,” noted Lindsay. “We also pulled an old classic that everyone knows and loves, ‘I’d Rather Have Jesus,’ and we even did a Bing Crosby/Andrews Sisters style song!” Fans will be thrilled to find, by popular request, ‘Beethoven’s 5th’ is also on the album.
Lindsay is a cowriter on the title track, “Another World,” along with Haun and Jeff Bumgardner. She shared, “The inspiration came from a quote I read by C.S. Lewis: ‘If I find in myself desires which nothing in this world can satisfy, the only logical explanation is that I was made for another world.’ Truly God’s children have been created for something else, but, while we are here, we want to encourage people to keep pressing on, keep walking, keep serving, and staying true to God and His Word. Be a light and testimony on your journey to another world, and take souls for Christ with you…may God bless you on your way.”
She added, “There is a lot of heart and soul poured into Another World, and we hope and pray it takes the listener closer to God and strengthens their walk.”
Distributed exclusively to retail and digital outlets by Provident-Sony Distribution, Another World is scheduled to release May 5. The StowTown album will be available online and at Christian bookstores and outlets worldwide.

Nashville, TN – Nashville based music artist MARK209 was invited to perform for the annual Good Friday worship service at Nashville Rescue Mission on Friday, April 14th.
The group led residents of the Mission in classic hymns as well as original songs before Nashville Rescue Mission President and CEO Rev. Glenn Cranfield delivered a short message on the celebration of Easter. “Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ,” says Rev. Cranfield. “At the Mission, Christ’s resurrection power is constantly at work, moving ‘stones’ and changing lives.”
Tenor singer Nathaniel Justice shares, “We were already in Middle Tennessee for our annual Good Friday evening concert so we were happy to be at the Mission in the morning. We have always branded ourselves as Music From the Heart of Nashville but today it has been an honor to share Good Friday with the residents of the Mission and have the opportunity to give back to the heart of Nashville.”

Open Letter from Trey Ivey
I’m communicating with you all today because you have been so good to me over the past 6 plus years and I wanted you to hear this directly from me.
I have submitted my notice of resignation from Legacy Five. I have been wrestling with this decision for several months now, trying to find a balance between the road, studio work and most importantly, our 8-month-old baby girl, Emerson. I find it harder than I ever expected it to be, leaving town every week.
Scott Fowler was, just as you would expect…gracious and encouraging to me when I told him of my decision. No one has been better to me than Scott, both on a business level and a personal level. I have no finer friend than him. Thank you, Scott, for the amazing opportunity you have given to my family and me and for investing in me.
I would also like to say thank you to Scott Howard, Matt, Josh and Blake. You guys have been a joy to work with.
I have told Scott I will remain with Legacy Five as long as I am needed. I have no “job” lined up. I plan to continue pursuing opportunities in the studio producing, arranging and orchestrating.
I ask for your prayers, not only for my family and me, but also for L5 as they navigate their way thru this transition.
Scott Fowler had this to say: “Professionally, Trey has been a valuable member of Legacy Five. His incredible contributions cannot be over-stated. Personally, he is a cherished friend so I will miss him…both personally and professionally, but I understand his decision and I support him fully.”
If you want to be considered for the piano playing position with Legacy Five, contact Scott Fowler via email at email@example.com.

Morristown, TN –Greater Vision will be introducing a new vocalist to their audiences, beginning this week. Jon Epley is joining the trio, and will perform his first concert with the group on Friday April 21, in Springfield, Missouri.
Jon says, “I have been a fan of Greater Vision for many years. To say that I am overwhelmed and honored to be singing with three of my heroes, Gerald, Rodney, and Chris, would be a huge understatement. I would like to thank these men for this opportunity to sing the music that I love. I look forward to learning so much from them. I sincerely desire to be a blessing, in any way that I can, to the wonderful ministry that Greater Vision has established over the years.”
Gerald Wolfe says, “I’ve known Jon for several years, and am very glad to have him as a part of our group.” Gerald added, “Jon isn’t replacing anybody. No one is leaving the group, and contrary to rumors that might arise… I’m not making plans to retire. Jon is actually coming onboard to help me stay on the road for many more years. Most people who come to our concerts know I was diagnosed with a chronic neck muscle issue (Muscle Tension Dysphonia), a few years ago. I have good days and bad days, but never a day without pain and tension in both sides of my neck. The condition often makes it painfully difficult to breath and sing properly through an entire concert. Jon will be singing what has historically been my part in the harmony with Greater Vision. I will still be singing some features, handling the emceeing, and playing the piano in our concerts. The really good news is, I can confidently say the overall “GV Sound” isn’t going to change, but Jon’s great baritone voice adds a fresh, new texture to the trio’s blend.”
Jon has already been in the recording studio with Greater Vision, and will be heard on their new CD, Still, which will be released by Daywind Records in July. Rodney Griffin said, “I was impressed with Jon’s quick learning curve in the studio, and look forward to traveling with him… and hope he’s a slow bus driver.” Chris Allman added, “Change is always a scary thing, but our experience with Jon in the studio has served as confirmation that he is the right man for this season in our ministry. Looking forward to what the years ahead have to offer!”
Jon Epley isn’t new to Gospel Music, having traveled with his family’s evangelistic team, The Inspirations, The Ball Brothers, and the LeFevre Quartet, before leaving the road one year ago. He and his wife, Tiffany, reside in Johnson City, Tennessee.
